Sunny Afternoon

Sunny Afternoon

SUNNY AFTERNOON questions the conventions of two very different film genres: rigid avant-garde film and playful music video. The first part uses found footage strategies and explores the many possible variations of the limited source material of just 16 photos of a simple movement. The second part enjoys intuitive workflow, allowing for downright cheesy sequences such as time-lapse clouds in blue sky or playful experiments with rotating black chairs.  The music also refers to typical clichés of the two film genres.
