I curated this selection of films based on a strict principle: the question of which animated films first opened up new experiences and perspectives for me. I developed a strong interest in experimental animation early on; this interest forms, in a sense, a cornerstone of the selection. Another defining characteristic is my deep passion for music and the associated desire to pay equal attention to the visual and acoustic dimensions of the films. Finally, I would also like to highlight my interest in a wide variety of styles and techniques as a key aspect.
