Kim, an artist, has found himself sitting in front of his sketchbook, uninspired. He is annoyed because he doesn’t know what to draw, so when a drop of ink falls onto a perfectly blank page, he grows even grumpier and storms out of his room.
Later, the ink drop (Inklet) magically comes alive and starts moving. It travels across the sketchbook, meeting various sketches. Most of them do not welcome him very well, and Inklet runs away, jumping from page to page. When Kim finally returns to the room, Inklet panics and lets himself go, spreading across the page and leaving a mark. Kim sits back at his table, sees the ink mark and suddenly gets filled to the brim with inspiration. He gets to work on a new drawing.
