Twenty-eight proposals meeting the set criteria have been received on time for Animasyros Pitching Forum – International MIFA Annecy Campus.
The quality of the proposed projects was very high, so the pre-jury decided to propose three projects instead of two to the Animasyros selection committee.
In selecting the projects, the jury, composed of artist-scholar Mesrure Melis Bilgin Koen, Director, Founder&CEO of Toonxr Animation Özgül Gürbüz Aksoy, and Florent Signifredi, paid attention to the originality of the idea, the artistic qualities of the project, the potential of the animated film to reach international general audiences, and the quality of the presentation of the pitching files.
Regarding these criteria, the jury decided to propose the following projects:
- Yasemin Orhan – To Catch a Nut (serial)
- Elif Boyacıoğlu – Little Treasures (Short film)
- Günef Şenay Bozkurt – The Witch of the Mountain (Serial)
One of this 3 project will be selected by the international jury to participate to the Animasyros Pitching platform.
