Do you want to present your animation project in Annecy?

ANIMASYROS, organized on the Greek island of Syros, has established a strategic partnership with Annecy Festival to support animation professionals! This year, ANIMASYROS’ Agora Pitching Forum will be part of the International MIFA Campus, which aims to provide skills and experience to young creatives and artists. Six artists from Greece, Cyprus, the Balkan countries, Egypt, Morocco & Turkey will participate in this program.

Canlandıranlar and the Institut français Turkey will conduct the pre-jury process of the projects from Turkey that will be proposed to ANIMASYROS and to the international jury.

If your project is selected, you will participate in a 4-day Pitching Coaching Workshop in Syros between 25-28 September as part of the International MIFA Campus. The workshop trainers will be renowned audiovisual professionals selected by the Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) team: creative producer and mentor Delphine Nicolini, writer and director Claire Sichez and Sylvain Grain, head of MIFA Talent Projects. During the workshop, the six participants will adapt their projects to the challenges of the international market and prepare effectively to participate in the Pitch Partenaire in Annecy in June 2025.

If you are selected, the Institut français will cover your flight to Greece and your expenses in Syros. The team will provide help as well for the visa application.

If you are confident in your project and your English (workshops and presentations will take place in Shakespeare’s language), send us your idea in the format below.

Deadline: 14 July at 18.00
Announcement of selected projects: 1 August 2024
Workshop dates: 25-28 September 2024
