Realizing that she has lost her color in a graying world, an architect flees from the gray world to the world of birds and learns the story of the last surviving Siberian crane. A male and a female crane from the Siberian crane family embark on their migration journey. During their migratory journey, the female crane is killed by the hunter. The male crane arrives alone in its nest, where he goes with his mate. While mourning the death of his wife, he realizes that there is no one left in the world but himself, faces his loneliness and leaves his home. He doesn’t return home the following year, some of bird watchers think that he died also. But he returns after two years. He shouts “I’m here” in the hope that someone will hear, but no one hears. He comes to the same place every year, calls to the sky and waits. Finally, one night, his call is answered, his lost wife comes out of the stars.
This film tells the story of the last remaining Siberian crane in the world, is based on a true event. The last remaining Siberian crane bird went to their migration nest and waited his murdered wife for 14 years. All the People who know his story, thought that he is the hope of the existence of true love and called him “Omid” which means hope in Persian
