Merve Çaydere on Stop Motion

Our jury member Merve Çaydere will talk and exchange ideas with the audience about what it means to make a stop motion film today.

Merve Çaydere is a stop-motion animation director and set designer. Working on both animation and live action projects, Çaydere has designed sets for various films including Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio. Her animated short film “The Mother of All Flowers” has won awards at many international film festivals. She currently works as Assistant Art Director at Laika Studio.
